Bid Build
This was Prince Albert’s first Save on Foods grocery store as a part of Overwaitea Food Group’s expansion into the province. This was TECH Electric’s second Save on Foods store to be completed in the province. The store featured a design-build procured shell building and a bid-build Save on Foods tenant fit up. This 42,000 square foot facility included in-floor wireways for all the checkouts and autonomous checkouts an extensive shipping and receiving entrance and complete retail grocery experience. The site included electric charging for online food order delivery trucks, car plugs, and LED area lighting. The 2,000A 347/600V main electrical service provided for refrigeration, HVAC, lighting, garbage compactor, and other power sources throughout the facility. TECH Electric helped deliver this project on-time and on-budget for the owner.
