Design Build
This is a long sought-after facility for Huskie Athletics, the University of Saskatchewan, and our community. The facility has the first NBA sized courts in Saskatoon, a 3,500 spectator arena, and community arena. We believe the design-build approach that was employed helped to develop a stronger relationship, one that allowed for innovation to bubble up from unexpected sources. Design team meetings included all stakeholders such as the building operators and constructors. Given the opportunity to sit at the table with this team allowed us to open up our thoughts and expertise to the group while also learning from the experience in the room. This more iterative approach allowed for a more thorough and innovative design in our view. In TECH Electric’s spirit of innovation, we were thrilled to be a part of this incredible facility.
